Tuition Cost & Financial Options for Sage School of Massage and Healing Arts
Sage School of Massage will assist you in exploring financial resources and options to achieve your educational goals. We offer 100% financing with Sallie Mae Career Loans.
Loan Features:
• Interest rates range from prime + 0 to prime + 6.5.
• Loan can be repaid between 1-15 years.
• Loan payments can be deferred while attending classes for just $10 per month.
• Students can borrow up to $6000 for additional educational related costs.

Entrance Requirements:

To apply for admission to Sage School of Massage you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Have graduated from high school/GED
  • Be free of any communicable disease
  • Be physically & emotionally able to give & receive massages from either gender

Application Process:

  1. Complete a one day Introductory Massage Career Workshop for $100
    (upon enrollment that fee will be applied to tuition).*
  2. Submit an application with a non-refundable fee of $150.
    Include the following REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION with your application:

    • Proof of having a professional massage.
    • A high school diploma/GED or official transcript from the college/university that you graduated from.
    • Documentation of any felony or misdemeanor (see application).
  3. Submit an essay stating why a career in massage therapy will meet your personal/professional goals; how you will pay for your tuition; and your plans for adequate study time (with your present family obligations, work schedule, childcare etc.) Please type and double space your essay.
  4. Complete an interview with the director or a qualified staff member.
  5. Agree to the standards of professionalism, our mission, and the high standards
    required to attend Sage School of Massage.

  6. Submit proof of personal liability insurance paid (cost $49 per year – see director
    for information).

Notification by phone, mail or email of your acceptance or denial will be sent within one week after the admissions process is completed. Acceptance into the program will not be denied based on sex, race, national origin, age, disability, creed, religion, or other protected status. Transfer credits for students who have prior massage/anatomy training may be accepted at the discretion of the director.

Criminal Background Check:
We reserve the right to perform a criminal history background check on any applicant.

*Introductory Massage Career Workshop
Come join our faculty for a one day workshop that includes practicing basic Swedish massage strokes on other prospective students, participating in a “mini” science course, and overviewing expectations for attending Sage School of Massage. This course is a prerequisite for enrollment and the cost will be applied to tuition upon entrance into the program. Instructors will be evaluating potential students for suitability for this rigorous program. Check with the director for dates to attend. Cancellations must be received 24 hours in advance to receive a $50 refund. If less than 24 hours or failure to attend the workshop, we will retain the full class fee.
