| Anatomy Trains Myofascial Meridians | See Prices and Reserve Your Space
Class Description:
See how the muscles connect through the fabric of the body’s fascia to form long ribbons. Through life, injury, or attitude these “Myofascial Meridians” create postural imbalances, restrictions or strain patterns that lead to myofascial pain. With the Anatomy Trains map, you see how the pain in the back is related to the fallen arch, or how the tension in the neck can be relieved by work around the hip flexors, as examples. Tom Myers, who studied directly with Dr. Ida Rolf, developed Anatomy Trains when he was teaching Fascial Anatomy at the Rolf Institute. What started out as a game about connectedness has grown exponentially over the last 10 years to become a well supported system to inform the next generation.
