630 Hour Esthetics Program
Estheticians are specialists in cleansing, beautifying and preserving the health and wellness of the skin which is the largest organ of the human body. With the revolutionary changes in what we know about skin, this is an exciting time for practitioners to learn the art and science of esthetics. This program gives students hands on clinical experience in performing facials, waxing, and makeup artistry. Graduates are job ready for a variety of career opportunities through the business development courses and personal growth experiences that prepares them to be a successful professional in the industry.
Schedule: Program Starts September 13th
Monday-Thursday: 9AM-6PM. Course Work Completes in 5 months. Clinical operations/skills must be completed prior to graduation. Clinics will be offered on various days to accommodate student schedules.
Science – 90 Hours: Anatomy & Physiology & Pathology of the Skin; Chemistry & Product Analysis.
Professional Development – Health & Wellness – 104 Hours: Communication & Ethics; Career Success & Oregon Laws; Nutrition for Health and Self-Care.
Esthetics – 436 Hours: Facial Treatments I & II; Introduction to Advanced Esthetics, Massage & Integrating Techniques (90 minute facials, back facials included); Hair Removal Techniques (Brazilians & Sugaring Demos); Makeup Theory & Application; Clinical Practicum; Body Treatments; Safety & Sanitation.
