Ethics and the Therapeutic Relationship – October 17th
This class is designed to provide a refresher on the elements of a therapeutic relationship, and its importance in the massage profession. Ample time will be allowed to discuss ethical considerations and ethical dilemmas experienced while working in the field. Boundary crossings, dual relationships, and the use of technology are common topics raised by both practitioners and clients. Practicing massage during a pandemic has also raised some interesting questions. Please bring your questions, and candid thoughts – this class is for those of us experiencing these issues in real time and honest conversation is not only encouraged, it’s expected. Confidentiality applies to any and all information shared or discussed in class.
We will be following the Governor’s orders on COVID guidelines. Please be prepared to comply with the state’s requirements.
